She holds a state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina as well as a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Carolina University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina.

Rachel is passionate about helping adolescents and their families, and spent 7 years working for local nonprofit Windwood Farm Home for Children and Family Services in order to learn how to help adolescents, their families, and adults struggling with life stressors, relationship difficulties, behavioral and mental health challenges. She pursued extensive training in experiential methods via equine assisted psychotherapy and really enjoys creative paths to helping people connect with themselves, one another, and the world around them.

She enjoys working with adults on managing anxiety and depression, life transitions, and pursuing purpose and positive change in their lives.  Rachel believes that her job is to create a safe environment where she can help her client(s) facilitate change.  Psychotherapy goals with Rachel may include changes in thoughts, behaviors, goals, perspectives, or in self esteem and confidence.
